Monica Saldivar is a rising star in Tejano music. The singer from Grand Prairie, Texas won Tejano Idol in 2015 releasing her self-titled debut album a few short years later in 2019. That album earned Top New Female Artist at the My Tejano Awards in 2019 and a win as Best New Female Artist at the Tejano Music Awards a year later.
